Picked up this Hurricane from a guy named Eric over in Vernon, Ct in late August of 2013. He had it for sale for a real decent price and it turned out to be a very nice playing machine.
All the people that hate this machine are wackos... it's fun and overall a pretty cool theme.
The "backglass" is actually made of two parts... the outside border and a center round area that SPINS!
Another neat thing is the double ferris wheel. Some "professional" type pinball players think it creates too large a delay in play but I think it's a neat feature and don't mind the extra 4 seconds the ball takes while it rides them.
And then there is the juggler... I mean COME ON!!! Look at that scary fella?!?!? How can you NOT like him? ;o)
After picking up the machine I had to clean the playfield with Novus products, wax said playfield, fix common items such as lights, sockets, switches, wiring issues, etc., and then order parts that would either aid in completing repairs or make the game look better.
How cool is this artwork??? :o)

- Replaced burned out bulbs
- Adjusted/replaced non-working switches
- Re-built flippers
- Replaced rubbers
- Added LEDs to backbox
- Added LEDs to topper

- Replace old rusty legs with nice shiney new ones
- Added leg protectors
- Installed better condition playfield glass
- Replaced sling shot plastics and added protectors
